Lost Lake Reserve is one of the area's largest master planned communities. Development
plans call for:

- Commercial Village with 51 acres fronting US Highway 27, Citrus Tower Boulevard and John's Lake Road accommodating 468,000 sq. ft. of retail space;
- A Town Center, situated on 7 acres, will be located in the northeast quadrant of the property near the intersection of Citrus Tower and John's Lake Roads and will accommodate 70,000 sq. ft. of retail/office space;
- General Offices are planned for the southern 17 acres with frontage on both Citrus Tower and US Highway 27;
- Lost Lake Elementary School, which opened in Fall 2000;
- An 11 acre City Park, located along the edge of Lake Felter, that includes ball fields, tennis courts and basketball courts; a passive park around Eagle Lake; and, a linear park along Citrus Tower Boulevard from John's Lake Road north to Steves Road.
All project approvals are in place including DRI, Zoning and master stormwater and environmental permits.
